Really good location, nice apartment with character and a very friendly owner.
Maybe the stereo could be updated.

Apartments are spacious and comfortable in the center of Kaprun. Hostess is very friendly. There are close to the slopes, close to supermarket.

Location is fantastic - right in the centre of town, easy walking to both ski areas and bars, etc. The appartment was a good size and very comfortable. It was also nice and warm - which is important in January! Definitely recommend for self-catering ski / walking holiday.
Just a bit pricey, I guess, but staying in Austria at New Year was never going to be cheap!. Also, a couple of additional english language tv channels would be nice - we only had CNN.

The location to skiing and shopping was good. The rustic ambiance of the apartment was unique. Fairly well equipped apartment for four people.
It took us a long time to check in from the front porch. We were finally let in after three different phone calls (and we were not late)! The manager did not want to be bothered with the paperwork of our check-in and she did not want to deal with our bill over the Holidays. We were not informed beforehand that she required cash payment. We felt like our presence there was a nuisance to her. Parking was very mis- advertised...it was around a city block in a public parking lot and made carrying ski gear a challenge. There was no public sidewalk, so you had to cross the street twice just to go around the block! Also, there was no dishsoap to wash the dishes. Most apartments we have stayed in provide basic kitchen necessities.

The appartment was warm, spacious and comfortable, although not luxurious. There was free parking near by. A car is useful because the skiing is spread out, although there are frequent buses. The apparment is well placed for shops and resturants.
They do not take credit cards, so it is necessary to get cash to pay the bill. It is not always easy to make contact with the management. The kitchen is very small and not very well organized. The "basics" like salt, suggar, washing-up liquid are not provided.

A lovely apartment, used only as a one night stop-over but ideal for us asa family of four. Kaprun is a beautiful village, with stunning mountain scenery but:
Shame; cleaning cost for one day only stay was almost as much as the cost of the apartment. This was not clear from booking. The very helpful and courteous owner did grant us a small discount accepting the confusion. For a stay of 3 or more days not a problem 1 or 2 nights please check!

The apartment we stayed in (Venediger) was warm, comfortable and rustic in design, reflecting the local architecture. It had been renovated recently with a well appointed kitchen and lovely, modern bathroom. The 2 bedrooms are smaller because this was an attic apartment, but very functional and the main thing is you'll get a great night's sleep. This apartment is perfect for a family with one child or two small children. Diane the Pächter is wonderfully warm and friendly, fluent in German and English.

Good location (heart of Kaprun village, near the shopping center ), easy car access and free parking, free wi-fi, kitchen (with sink, fridge, microwave oven, electric hob, coffee filter, toaster, kettle, fair kitchenware, small dining place inside kitchen)
The price was not the one from booking .com.(local tax and "cleaning tax" not included - around 15% of total value).

Nice location, very centre of the town. Except washing mashine all you need were provided. Friendly staff was waiting for my late arrival after latest hour of check-in. Complete silence is impossible there due to short dictsnce of alpine river but the noise was quite moderate and anyway even didn't reach even a city level. All the rest was fine and I would rely on this location while planninig next tour to Kaprun.

Literally few steps proximity to Maiskogel skiing slopes, village center, ski-bus stops, Adeg shopping center, training/kids skiing slopes, cafes, apres-ski, restaurants. Hotel service was excellent, we were a bit dissappointed that there was no wifi in the room. It was inconvenient when five people are staying in the apartment and each has to wait for the lan-cord. So hotel management broght us wifi router. Price/value.
The apartment was not as spacious as shown on the fotos. In one bedroom the bed was literally squeezed in. So you cannot walk in, you simply jump onto the bed. The apartment was for up to 6 people. Max. 4 as the apartment has one bathroom. This is not convenient.
